Research Summary

Elise Albuquerque research focuses on the conversion of biomass derivatives, like glycerol, into added-value chemicals, particularly carboxylic acids using heterogeneous catalyst. For this, is essential to design a novel catalyst that is stable in the reaction medium and which allows to work with milder reaction conditions in a flow reactor.
